Heathrow Reimagined: A Better Hub for Britain responds to Willie Walsh's Report on the Air Transport Industry at the IATA Annual General Meeting (AGM)

“In the Director General’s State of the Industry speech at the IATA AGM in Delhi, Willie Walsh further endorsed IATA’s support for the Heathrow Reimagined campaign, noting the need for a fundamental review “to solve decades of misguided regulation and management”.

“Highlighting how the current regulatory framework at Heathrow has an “unconstrained ability to collect more charges with no improvement in performance” it further demonstrates wide-spread industry support for urgent action to be undertaken by the Civil Aviation Authority.

“Serving businesses and passengers alike, the UK deserves better from its only hub airport, restoring pride in this national infrastructure and to increase competitiveness for economic growth.”
